Compared with traditional steel bearings, the specific advantages of silicon nitride ceramic ball bearings are as follows :
High-speed operation performance. During the use of the bearing, with the increase of the rotational speed, the centrifugal force generated by the bearing operation increases greatly, resulting in an increase in the sliding friction between the bearing ring and the internal roller, resulting in a skidding phenomenon of the bearing, which ultimately leads to a shortened service life of the bearing. Due to the low density of the ceramic ball bearing, the centrifugal force of the internal ceramic ball during the rotation process is greatly reduced, and the slip phenomenon caused by the centrifugal force is also greatly reduced, thus improving the life of the bearing.
Good friction performance. Compared with traditional bearing steel, silicon nitride ceramic material has excellent chemical stability in common strong acid and alkali environment, and it is difficult to be corroded by strong acid such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and strong alkali such as sodium hydroxide. In addition, compared with steel bearings, ceramic bearings do not have electrical conductivity and magnetism, so it is safer to use ceramic bearings in a strong magnetic environment.
